No experience with this soldering iron but for 20 bux more I would get the Pinecil although you need a power source for it (a laptop charger with cord of the many that I have worked great).
Ever since the pinecil I no longer consider any other soldering iron. I have had some of this weller type design although different make and they have not lasted. Guess it depends on how often you will use it.
