I have this tablet and don't recommend it unless all you do is press play on videos. It's very laggy and frustrating overall.
I made a similar comment regarding the FHD M8. It's a great deal if all you care for is getting a cheap tablet but in terms of usability I won't be getting another low end Lenovo tablet with a MediaTek processor again
All of you who only care about a good deal...I hope you enjoy the device
I would stay away from the Lenovo , Asus Tablets for a few reasons
1. Update - the updates(inluding Android updates & upgrades) are always slow and out of blue they will decide to not push any more updates.
2. Extremely slow and bloatware (Asus particularly). Horrible experience doing anything toher than watching you tube.
3. Customer service is difficult to find and might not be on par.
Save the 150$ for a better tab especially if it is for regular use.

I agree. But Lenovo is not that bad, they state in advance what updates you will get.

Umm... I completely disagree about Lenovo, their tablets today are practically stock. And your favorite brand... Sammy is the one with the bloat. Can not comment on Asus.

Never needed customer service for Lenovo but I did use it for Samsung and it did not go so great. But 6 weeks later after HAGGLING (???? never had to haggle with customer service on how they will make me whole) they finally mailed me my new tablet.

I also agree but for different reasons... IMHO, the minimum CPU/GPU should be is a G99. This CPU is about 40% slower.

If the MediaTek Helio G80 lags in a 720p phone, its gonna be struggling even more pushing 2000x1200...
This tablet is TOO SLOW and it is a DO NOT BUY.
The budget tablet to buy right now is the "iplay 50 mini pro" by "alldocube". It's title on Am Azon is ALLDOCUBE Android 13 Tablet,16GB (8+8) RAM 256GB ROM 512GB Expandable Android Tablet,Helio G99 8-Core CPU,1920×1200 IPS in-Cell 8.4 inch Tablet iPlay 50 Mini Pro,5000mAh,5MP/13MP,4G LTE
AND IT SELLS FOR $140.00 after you clip the $40 coupon.
I have this tablet and I highly recommend.
XDA has already figured out how to root and how to install third party ROMS but the tablet comes with Android 13 with NO BLOATWARE (very clean Android 13).
I love the size of this tablet, so easy to use in bed.
THE BAD...
1. Expect no security updates (there have been 3 updates for the hardware).
This is a project Tablet... in about a year or two from now I plan on trying to install Linage and that will fix this issue. As stated, XDA has already figured out how. This is currently very popular tablet on XDA.
2. One mediocre speaker.
I don't find it so bad and I usually wear headphones. But this seems to be the biggest complaint about this tablet.
3. No Widevine Level 1 support.
This is another deal breaker for many people. I have ran Netflix and due to the small screen it does not look so bad. But there are so many ways to stream movies and TV shows in full HD that I have not had any issues (so many websites that offer this).
