Direct from valve with true warranty support it's $280. But hard to find in stock.
GameStop support will be nearly non existent.

Then you take the dinglebop and push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice.
Then a Shlami shows up and he rubs it, and spits on it.
Then you cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way.
The blaffs rub against the chumbles, and the plubus and grumbo are shaved away.
That leaves you with a regular old refurbished Steam Deck

Don't have personal experience, but a lot of youtubers I've watched say YMMV.
I'd buy a refurb directly from Valve but not from Gamestop esp since support/repair will be handled by them not Valve if you have an issue.
If you can afford it go Oled for sure.
You want manufacture refurbished from Valve not the crap gamestop sells. Broken bits horror stories
Edit: answering my own question -- the FAQ part of the page says
> Are these the same refurbished Steam Deck units GameStop is selling?
> No, GameStop's refurbished Steam Decks have been refurbished in their own facilities, and they will come with a different warranty provided by GameStop.

BTW, you can't just claim "thousands of people" when you are seemingly the only one complaining about something. After doing a little research because of your post this '1000's' seems to be 1-2 people posting the same thing across multiple platforms. Oddly they claim resetting their ROUTER solves this "Steam Deck problem" temporarily. LOL....
If you are going to use it primarily for remote play, the Portal is better. You will get the full PS5 experience.
