Buy from a local farmer and spend a summer day shucking, boiling, shearing, vac sealing and freezing.

Make different portion sizes. Then cut open and put in a microwave dish with lid, pop them in the microwave for a few minutes and you're good to go with delicious sweet corn or corn on the cob from the stove top all year long.

Corn went from one of my least favorite vegetables to one of my favorites once I got hooked on triple sweet corn done this way.

I'll save the shelf space for green beans.
