Reminder: Check with your state to see if there are still federal 2020 CARES money available. Your state will pay for all training and certifications, and in some states, they pay you to go. Everything from CDL's to IT certifications. It's supposed to have been for people with no experience, but they didnt show up. Now it's available to pretty much anyone. I got my low voltage electrician's certification last year because some corporations and retailers now require it when you run network cable. (Pretty dumb IMO) You have to go through your state's department of labor (or whatever name they use). Unemployment departments no longer run this. If you've already taken advantage of it, and there's still money available after Jan 1st, you can get more free training and certifications.
Will this allow us to earn the Deep Learning AI certificates? Those courses are all hosted on Coursera.

Update, found the answer: "deeplearning.ai and Stanford University courses are excluded from Coursera plus."

Then it's a no from me. Those are the only ones I'm interested in.
You don't put coursera as the provider you put the company or college providing the courses

Have been waiting for this for some time - how long does the promo generally run? Unless I'm missing it I'm not seeing an end date on the website.

I think from what I read the certificate is only on the account holder's name. But knowledge is sharable 😄

I don't really think coursera certs are worth a dime on your resume..what's more is getting certs from the vendor itself like Oracle , Msft Amazon Aws or CISSP CEH etc.

I doubt coursera or linkedin certs validation really is worth to future employers..IMHO 0.02$

That's usually Lynda which is now LinkedIn learning..although I feel both do have lot of overlap..

Is LinkedIn learning better or coursera? Anyone having both knows?
