A better price for sure, but this price feels like you're largely paying for the animals. The parts per $ is pretty weak

This is still more expensive than the normal price in Europe where they still have higher quality pieces than North America. LEGO greed will never end.

You serious? This is very well know by simply looking at the quality drop. In Europe the bricks are made in Europe and China. In the USA the bricks are made in Mexico. It's why the last several years the quality isn't as high as it was.

You said there is a quality difference between parts for the euro-market and those made for the North American market ie: knowingly making an inferior product for one market vs another. Cite something that has been written about this. Something that isn't randos on Reddit.
