BlendJet Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain BlendJet 2 portable blenders.
We have determined that the bases in certain older blenders can overheat or catch fire, and the blades can break, posing fire and laceration hazards to consumers. BlendJet 2 units subject to this recall were distributed from approximately October 2020 through November 2023.
You can easily check if you have a recalled BlendJet 2 by entering the serial number of your unit into the "Is my BlendJet 2 Recalled?" tool located at www.blendjet.co
Any BlendJet 2 with a serial number that begins with 5543 or a greater number is not subject to this recall, as it already features the updated base unit.
