Really liked Kubo. Seems like a good price if I was interested in the others as well

Hard agree. This set is worth $15 just for Kubo alone. One of my family's favorite "animated" movies ever.

Nice bundle! I was happy when I paid $20 for the 3-bundle without Kobo, and this is $5 less with one more!

Kubo and Coraline are straight up classics. The other two are solid but not at the same level. If I didn't own the two classics already this would be a no-brainer buy for me!

Coraline > Kubo > Box Trolls > ParaNorman

Fortunately not a huge dip from one to the next, but Coraline is definitely better than ParaNorman.

Paranorman is my favorite Laika film, but they're all fantastic.

I actually like ParaNorman the most! But they're all great.

I actually found kubo the weakest. Almost downright terrible.

I'm curious, what did you like about Kubo? I thought it was boring and convuluted.

Gonna join the Kubo love train, not sure how that one seems to be so forgotten. Really enjoy all these though so definitely recommend for $15.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible - it resonated a ton with me and my kids because it dealt a lot with grief. My wife and their mother passed away from cancer almost 5 years ago, and we loved the general mood about trying to honor and live up to those who have passed but to make your own way. We've also dealt with family members with different degrees of dementia, so the end bit with the grandfather was very recognizable and very well done. "Song of the Sea" is another animated film that has grief as a central theme and is amazing... but I can't watch that one anymore.

I liked how the 'prophecy' about needing the armor was almost completely a MacGuffin in the end and Kubo won without it. I thought Matthew McConaughey's comic relief was perfect, and that there were real stakes and danger which is often not the case in children's movies.

I thought the art style was brilliant and to me, it is the pinnacle of stop-motion. It's insane to watch the ending credits and see how they put together the giant skull battle. And speaking of the end credits, Regina Spektor's cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is in my Top 5 covers ever, it is a literal perfect fit for the movie between the lyrics and the reference to the three-stringed Japanese guitar that Kubo makes and plays throughout the film.
