I would say most breakers are rated for 15 amps (120*15= 1800 watts). So if you're trying to pull more than that from one circuit you'll probably trip a breaker anyway. The USB power out is 4.2 amp combined. The USB A can do 2.4 amp, the USB C can do 3 amp, and any mix can do a combined max pull of 4.2 amp. I don't like replacing the plate screw, but it will probably make it more stable. $10? I'll buy one.
