Just picked up Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Perfecto (Box/12) for $79.00. Last December they were going for $65.00 - but have not seen them that cheap in over a year. Easily the best Cigar I've had.

The regular series V are still really good. Peace

This is exactly correct. Felt these in particular were not quite worth it. But there is a reason the other is constantly lauded

You're missing out. Have you tried their master blend?

In a humidor at 72% works best for me. Boveda packs are easy , just throw them in the humidor and they do all the work no messing with water or solution

Best can mean a lot of things. Quickest? Easiest? Foolproof? Long term? Convenient? Attractive (like display worthy)?

Lots of variables. Usually the question you ask involves quick and easy. IOW, what do I do with my cigars today if I don't have anything?

A very easy start is a Boveda 50ct 1 year bag OR a tupperware type container that seals OR a picnic cooler that has a good seal. A Boveda pack or another humidifying alternative to go with the latter two options and you're set for as long as you choose. That gives you all the time you need to determine what storage fits your needs.

I see a lot of clearance deals on this page. Some of them are like 30 bucks for $200 worth of boxes. What would be the absolute best deal there or best cigar on the clearance list?

I've had great luck with the Rubbermaid Brilliance line. Can hold about 25 or 30 with room. Similar to this. https://www.rubbermaid.com/food-s...24339.html

Different smokes for different folks. While some cigars are considered top shelf, there won't be a typical consensus as to what an individual will find enjoyable.

If it's for yourself and you don't know what you like, I would suggest you might appreciate a sampler like this atThompson [thompsoncigar.com]

Drew Estates is a solid choice for decent cigars and the sampler has a bit of a range of wrappers/smokes. Thompson always has discount codes available. Try "Delicious" and TCPS2137 There is also a welcome code and an email sign up code and free shipping is often offered as a pop-up if you leave the page and come back or even wave your mouse around the address bar as if ready to leave the page. I can almost always manage 30% and free shipping. Some coupons will stack so always try and add as many as you can find.

If you are looking for someone else, it would help to know if they are a smoker or just fire up occasionally. The subject of the OP is a well regarded smoke, but that doesn't mean everyone likes it. If a gift you just do your best. What else can you do ?? Confused
