The Magic Keyboard on the other hand, is more than just the keyboard. It has backlit, touchpad, magnetic placeholder, adjustable tilt at 270 degree angle and it is sleek. The downsize is the weight especially the 12.9" variant and the cramped keyboard for the 11" variant. Magic Keyboard is pricey but if you can find one under $150 then it a better deal but YMMV.
All in all, this keyboard deal is really good for the $$$ objectively speaking.

Lighter, no touch pad, which I don't think it's needed
I like it better than the Magic Keyboard, which weighs more than the iPad itself.

He's reviewing the 12.9" version but it applies to the 11" too.
Been using this keyboard since the 2018 11inch iPad Pro. Now getting it again for my m1 iPad pro. Magic Keyboard and the whole "what's a computer" push is a total failure IMO. Maybe makes more sense for the 12.9 but for 11, definitely much better with a slim and light one like this one. They tried to make iPad multitasking usable with "stage manager" last year and not a whisper of it at this year's WWDC that's when you know nobody cared about making iPad a laptop replacement.
This keyboard for the 11 inch does not have full sized keys - they feel a bit smaller and a bit more cramped. However I do like the feel - it's very quiet and efficient, I can still do 120+ word per minute in this no problem, and switching from this to, say the m2 MacBook Air keyboard, takes no effort - certainly a much smoother transition than going from a MacBook to, say the Legion 7i Pro's off center keyboard (push keyboard to left to make room for numpad) which I never get used to when blind typing.
My old Smart Folio keyboard, after a year, some letters fade especially bad are F and J, and others like the T and O and N. I guess I strike those harder than other keys. But still they function no problem, and they are spill resistant to a certain degree.
If the iPad Pro 11 is your only computing device and you need to somehow make it fully workable as a laptop replacement, only in this scenario would I say get the Magic Keyboard. But even then you are better off with just finger poking + gesture or Apple Pencil than trying to use that tiny trackpad on the Magic Keyboard.
TLDR is this is the ideal typing solution to the 11 inch iPad Pro, being used for light and on the go use, as a supplement to a real computer.
