Two children should fit fine, but you would need a bigger one to squeeze in two adults. Most likely legs would be hanging outside.

I just got my 800 delivered from Best Buy. It's free install, but I told them just to leave it and I'll install it myself. It might take me some extra time, but I can't stand how many shortcuts these outsourced third party install services use when they are contracted for install.

Great price for Bosch dishwasher that includes delivery and installation. If you buy it from other places like BB, HD, Lowes, there is usually a $150-$200 installation charge.

Quote from BrightLinen5871 :
I did not change any settings. I say it's complicated to get into the menu but it's likely simple once you understand it. It's just that I haven't needed to. It's been a week now and my dishes continue to come out clean and dry including plastic. I use the auto wash that says a medium dry setting is defaulted. The dry setting is just a fan as far as I can tell so I don't think I'll have an issue with that electricity wise. We'll see in another few weeks, but I do have PG&E and their rate spike hike this January.

I did tell my spouse we no longer need to crack the door open after a clean cycle and she correctly pointed out that the walls of the dishwasher are still wet. We still need to crack the door open. I stand corrected.
Good to know. The auto door open of the 500 is an attractive feature.
