I have the 2300psi model, basically the same (1.6) and that sucker surprised the hell out of me. I don't even miss my 3500psi gas one (actually sold it). These electric ones are freaking strong and can literally damage your deck if not careful (I may have furred up a few boards 😬). Strips paint easy, too. Yes, it would be nice to get a few more gpm, but it hasn't failed in a single task yet. Maybe 25-30% slower at some tasks, but the ease of use and maintenance and storage is worth it to me.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an aftermarket insurance plan to supplement the 90-day limited warranty?

Asurion was mentioned earlier but they do not offer a plan for this type of device.

Exactly, I bought one 🤷 ♂️ gonna use it for stuff around the house and on the cars.

Just wanted to give people a heads up this isn't a machine you'd use on a long driveway, they'd want to rent a 3-4gpm machine @ 3000 psi
Why is this ?

To be objective, there's 25, 1 star reviews and 125 5 star reviews. Half of the 1 star reviews are about low pressure and the rest are mostly about breaking or leaking connectors.

In my opinion, the low pressure reviews are people with gas pressure washer expectations or they have high psi house water and a good spray nozzle. Gallons per minute is what cleans and a house hose at 5gpm 250 psi will clean a car about as good as this pressure washer. The difference is you can get close to the surface with this pressure washer and actually get 2200 psi of cleaning force, while the hose will never get that high. From a distance, hose and this can be pretty comparable when used on grime.
Although it's true on the expectations for the pressure. It will never come close to standard gas powered ones. I am able to wash my car, a bit of my house (too high and you can't really do much but sprinkle it), wash my driveway decently. It will not strip paint unless you're very close range. It really depends on what you plan to use it.

My beef is that they use non standard parts to screw you in the long run. Good luck getting it fixed. Most other brands will use standard parts so they can be fixed.

I have a Wen PW1900 and it's a good washer but I'm thinking of getting a back up. Will this work with a sewer jetter hose to clean out a clogged drain?

I have the 2300psi version and it's been working well for 4+ years. I did get higher quality hoses and wand and never used the ones it came with. So I suggest immediately replacing the fittings with standard 1/4" and better quality. I chose a 50' MTM hose and Mosmatic wand and it's been great.

Pressure washer cleaning power = psi x flow. This is 2200 psi at 1.6 gallons per minute. Not something you'd want to clean a long driveway with, good enough for cars, deck or other small projects.
It's actually not 2200psi at 1.6 gpm. 2200psi is the max initial pressure, and 1.6gpm is the max flow at its lowest pressure. Working pressure is like 1450psi at 1.1gpm. Same way that dewalt says their line is 20v, but really 18v working, it's just marketing. Only the brushless electric pressure washers are able to meet specs closest to the weaker gas pressure washers, and almost all the sun Joe non brushless washers work under similar specs.

Because this machine would literally take you days of pressure washing if you used a wand. And I don't think it has enough cleaning power to use a surface cleaner. Driveways are big, like really big when you start cleaning. You'd be so pissed trying to do one with this

Mine is running good except the wand attachment brass was very thin and broke on its own. There was no replacement part for it and it's a special size bolt. I ended up retrofitting a different bolt to make it work and not leak water. But customer service failed to provide any options. They pretty much said SOL.
My experience as well after less a two years. Ended up throwing the whole thing away. The lack of replacement part options is crazy.
