I like Bustelo ground coffee (although I mix it with some non-expresso stuff) but these pods are... not tasty to me. That said, no pods ever match freshly made drip coffee.
This brand is great for making lattes and cappuccinos since it is much finer than regular coffee grounds. I use the bag grounds (not the pods), in my $50 Wal-Mart doorbuster espresso machine, and it's pretty good considering the price. I'm not sure I'd buy the pods though, so many other options available than a brand even the Dollar Store carries.
I like stronger coffee, usually drink the San Francisco Fog Chaser pods. Got these on a slickdeal and actually like them for just regular coffee. They're a great backup, especially for the low price you can get it for sometimes.
There are worse out there but Bustelo is definitely overrated by some. Think a lot of it is simply nostalgia for those who grew up with it, like a Folgers here in the US
Meets my 35 cent threshold for premium K-Cups. If you like "in your face" strong coffee, this stuff is great. If you're a more delicate person who is afraid of boldness, this one isn't for you. Stick with your Fog Chaser tea bag cups lol.

The Dollar stores carry it because it has a strong Hispanic following, not because it's a "cheap" product. Let's try to be more culturally sensitive.

Best cups for me have to be Starbucks (Varona, or Colombia)
