Looks a good deal and almost got one but according to some of the reviews, the slider breaks after a couple months and you can't use it without the plug getting pushed back in to the housing.

I bought one back in May, I guess that's why it popped up on Amazon to buy again. Light use and it's still working fine. As long as it's not beat on, it's OK.

From a review someone actually tested the read and write speed. it has really slow write speed even though they advertise "up to 150MB/s. I would avoid this.

Upgrade your ssd's and put the old ones into a usb-c 3.2 enclosure (10gb transfers)...the cases run around $16. Here's one I like because it has an external heat sink to get rid of heat: https://www.amazon.com/ORICO-NVMe...NBCS/?th=1

Currently $19 but it was just recently $15.99 so if you set a pricewatch (keepa firefox extension) it will come around again to that price. It does so regularly.

I record many videos with my phone. I use this to offload the files so I don't fill up my phone when I'm out and about.

I use a toothpick to hold the broken slider and it works.
