I'm not sure why this has a negative deal score. It's a $1,200 monitor with excellent reviews and specs at a huge discount. Sure it's a refurb, but Dell stands behind all their refurbs.

GSync really isn't an advantage for most people, and the GSync version has an additional point of failure/annoyance (louder fan on the GSync module). The refurbs Dell sends out under warranty on DW/DWF notoriously have problems, so you might be stuck in exchange hell for a while if you start from there.

Also 90 day warranty refurb vs 3 year warranty new. Pretty important on gen 1 QD-OLED as a PC monitor.

The DWF has been 899.99 list price for the last several months, and has spiked a bit post-holiday season. It'll almost certainly drop back to 899 soon, and when you combine Dell.com cash back (typically 10-16%), as well as credit card offers often available on Dell.com (non-outlet) you can very likely get a brand new DWF for $729 or less. Gen 2 QD-OLED should be coming out in a few months in this form factor, which will also result in more sales on Gen 1.

I'd say that's why this is getting thumbs down.
