They changed the recipes. The older version was so good, and I couldn't stop eating them. I thought I was responsible for shortages in my area because I ate so much of them. But these new cookies taste like nothing. There is no flavor and weirdly starts to crumble in a very bad tasting way. On top of that, the old bags had maybe 7 or 8 cookies. This has 4 mini ones.
I tried it twice just to make sure it wasn't just because of the change in recipe thay I found so unappealing. These new cookies have cured me of my addiction, so I should really thank them. I have not bought them again, and have lost any cravings for Famous Amos. I recently saw a vending machine that had the old bags in them, and bought it. It was stale because they stopped making the old recipe awhile ago, but I was reminded of how great Famous Amos used to taste. This new recipe is not worth buying.
Now, the cost just pushed me to go elsewhere.
Nope. The only cookies that should ever be soft are the ones right out of the oven.

I agree. I'm a sucker for the Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies and so I jumped on this "deal". Got the cookies today, had one bite... They are nasty.

Did anyone see that original Amos dude on Shark Tank? Sad.
