Yeah, this is really for littler kids out of the box. These are pretty easy to mod if you want as your kid gets older. We recently upgraded ours to a 36v 24ah lithium battery with a new controller.

I bought a upgraded 36v controller [ebay.com] from Fast Scooters on eBay and lithium 36v battery from Amorge (they ship from China and are very reputable in the modding world). It made a huge difference in both speed and battery life. I also added a throttle controller [ebay.com] as I have 3 boys and wanted to be able to cap the speed.


I'm not very good at modding things but there are a few facebook groups with very kind and helpful people who walked me through it.

Target has the 350 cheaper and I think they're the same just different colors.

It says age 13 plus… can a 6 year old ride these? They don't look any bigger than a 50cc.

I know it's a bit late of a response, but this is way too small for a 13 yr old to ride comfortably. My son was riding ours at 6. It's definitely not too much for a 6 year old and especially if not modded for more speed.
