That $10 would only get you about 100MB (as opposed to 1000MB), so if you're actually using 1GB of data it's an awful idea. But if only needing to randomly check e-mail or send a couple photos, it can work.
It worked out to be around $3-4 a month. I believe they're based off of the AT&T network.
H2o charges tax the Hellomobile sim is $5 tax included unlimited talk/text/500MB per month.

Best Deal currently is the $60 QVC Tracfone Blu 5G Bundle 1yr Unlimited talk/text/24GB comes out to 2GB per month.

Didn't read all the pages but if you need to use international roaming, be aware: Mint recently changed the rules. Now they charge $10 a day, 2/3 of these proudly advertised $15 a month.
