I saw a review that said that you should think of it primarily as a roller which you can turn into a backpack when you need in certain areas vs a backpack you occasionally roll, if that makes sense.

Anyone know if the lode roller is comfortable to carry on the back? I figured it wouldnt be because of the long handle that goes through the back. Very interested in adding it to my travel gear

It is comfortable, but if it's a long flight with multiple transfers , you wish it has wheels

Like 5 yr old babies, who can walk most of the time, but you have to carry them when they're tired.
