In order for this to work without massive increases in drive thru times, they should make you return a Starbucks-issued reusable cup in order to get your [already made] drink in your next reusable Starbucks cup.

But they don't want to be the ones doing the washing.

This is not a new deal. They have been running this promo most of the last year. Problem I kept encountering consistently had been upcharge for grande sized drink even though my SBucks cup says 12oz at the bottom...which means tall. Got tired of correcting them baristas experts and gone back to the waxed paper cups.

They don't. It says right on the page that they will be making drinks in their washable measuring cups when they receive the mobile or drive thru order, than pour it in your reusable cup once you arrive and they've seen that it is clean.

They also don't ever directly touch your cup - you put it in a drink holder with a handle for them to carry it.
