Price is $45.93
So, go over to the "other sellers" box and pick the ones directly sold from amazon and you will see it for 36.57

just get the Wera adjustible sliding jaw wrenches, unlike a crescent wrench they don't slip, the more torquer you put into it, the tighter the grip on the nut or bolt. And can also swing back and forth, almost like a ratchet. The real nice thing is that each one covers multiple SAE and Metric nuts and bolts, It's kinda like 3 wrenches for the price of one! Embarrassment

God I hate crescent wrenches. I'm looking this up.

That doesn't mean anything. Amazon uses Commingled Inventory. Buying from Amazon as seller doesn't mean a thing -- they could source the product from inventory provided by a third party, while claiming it as their own.

I bought a Wera hex key set from Amazon and it seemed genuine with the official Wera decal sticker inside the box. I know it sounds silly, but it also seems like a stretch for counterfeiters to include fake corporate decals.

I'm not saying you can't buy genuine from Amazon -- it's just a roll of the dice. A roll of the dice you don't have to endure elsewhere. So what's more important, saving a few dollars or rewarding someone who's 100% legit and isn't going to argue with you when you claim their very-likely-to-be-counterfeit merchandise is actually, gasp, counterfeit?

I got a full set a few years ago when I was able to get them a little cheaper. They are very nice and someone will ask you about them if they see you using them. They are a cool tool.

I don't think you are accurately representing how that system works. Have you received any fake Wera tools?

Actually LavenderPickle is dead correct. That is exactly what Amazon does. I speak from experience of working to prevent these actions. Amazon has a whole department to handle such issues, but honestly they only exist so Amazon can state that they take action against counterfeiters. If they actually took action to secure their "sold by Amazon" inventory, it would cut majorly into their profit margins. But your question about receiving fake Wera tools should probably be broader to ask if anyone has received fake "anything" and the answer is yes. Your only defense is to stay vigilant and know how to tell whatever you are buying is authentic. And you always have Amazon's backing in case of an issue.
Also this is showing $52 for me. Thanks anyway.
