Free sync works for both AMD and Nvidia cards

Slick enough for me since I can return it to Best Buy if it's terrible. Possibly a gaming panel that didn't pass fulll QC but is otherwise decent. I also like that it has DisplayPort. This isn't a wildly unusual price for this guy, so don't instabuy it if you weren't already in the market.

Pluses: 300 nits, IPS panel, HDMI, DP inputs, 3 yr. Warranty, good price, VESA mount, MSI fair manufacturer ( not a no name)

Negatives: only 1080p, no VGA input, speakers likely marginal at best

Overall: seems pretty good deal for 24" office or general purpose monitor

Anyone get this? How is it for an office monitor? Stand decent? At least it doesn't have annoying feet like a lot of 'gaming' monitors.

I take it the little speaker icon on the screen means it's got built in speakers?
I have this monitor and I can confirm it has built in speakers

It's 80 bucks. How is it being 1080p a negative, and who still wants to use vga in 2024???

Totally agree. More over, the next resolution up is 1440p, which VGA doesn't even support. So his negative kinda contradicts itself, as there's no way to satisfy them both at the same time.

119% sRGB (89% DCI-P3) is pretty good for 80 bucks. I would buy this if I needed a backup monitor.

Chill, Guys. Only pointing out possible negatives. Some have moved on beyond 1080p. If u have that resolution, I work with PCs that only have VGA outs. I said it was a "good" deal. Having these extras would make it a "great" deal.

How are the blacks and contrast on this thing? I have a cheap Dell 21 inch 720p LCD that has darker blacks than my Asus 24 inch 1080p LCD (the 24 inch has bright lighting that makes black look grey even on the lowest brightness settings).

Lately, my local Best Buys have been very cautious about returns like inspecting that the items are working, no accessories missing, looking for any physical damages, etc. I understand their right to do it but it makes returns a very cumbersome process when other retailers are not just that a**l.
