I bought and love Comply foam tips. They stay in awesomely, but I actually bought because I seem to be allergic to the silicone tips they come with. And the foam tips still fit in the charging case.
Anyone have recommendations for AirPod wingtips or other attachments that can help them better stay in ears while still managing to fit in the original charging case? I bought an expensive APP pair for my wife to replace the cheap $30 bluetooth buds she was previously using, however the AirPods don't stay securely in her ears, and so she's afraid to wear them lest they fall out and get lost.

I've seen tips being sold on Amazon that supposedly shape to the inner ear better (softer more malleable foam?). Maybe those will work, but I just came across them while looking for something else so don't know too much detail.
Has she tried the bigger sized AirPod ear tips that come in the box? I don't think any wingtip type adapters will allow you to keep them on and still close the charging case.

You "could" always buy and return. If you bought online my son just got a "one time only" exception that was past 30 days.
I would have to return the already used ones because of the serial numbers I think, which I've already dropped once and got a little nick on one of the ear buds.

I think Apple products get matched by serial numbers when you make returns so don't think that will work.

Eight days here. I guess $10 isn't exactly worth a return-rebuy.
That's what I'm leaning towards, not worth my time in those long return lines at my local store. I tried chatting with their automated chat online and was denied the price adjustment because I'm past the 30 days. I don't think I even want to call to request a one time exception because it's only $10, I might want to save my 'one time exception' for a bigger price difference on day if they do keep track of that stuff and it's truly one time.
