This look like a bad deal. You're going to loose the ability to squat and bench once you add this to your cage. If you're constantly switching back and forth this will be a workout on its own.

Dual plate loaded carriers, aka without weight stacks, is a royal PITA and will take way too much time away from your workout IMO.

I'm probably missing a piece, outside of my element here, but what's getting in the way? I like the idea of this, but have never had something like it before. To me, it looks like you'd just maybe move the bench around and then be good to go.

That $274 is only the cross-over cable and lat pull down addon. It does not include the rack itself or the bench.

(Post title and details are misleading)

Why can't you squat or bench? It looks poorly designed, but you can squat and bench. I have a powertec rack with the lat and weight stack. no issues.

I don't usually recommend but this is prime FB marketplace product you can get at fraction of new. Mainly bc it's almost a useless attachment (before the downvotes, lest be honest)

I believe if you like to squat and bench within the cage with the provided spotting bars from fitness realty (comes with the cage) than this might be a PITA. I usually walk out when squatting and don't use the spotting bars at all.

It is getting a lot of thumbs up for being incorrect information. Reviews also state this is just the add on. No rack and no cage.

You also have to buy additional weights for it.

Oh, okay, I can see that. I never even imagined doing it from inside the cage.
I appreciate the explainer, yeah, I can see how that would suck.

Only thing in the way inside the cage are the chains. I don't use the chains but you can literally unhook them in less time than it takes to b*tch about how inconvenient it is.

The chains literally pop off in less then a few seconds. Hardly an issue.

Do you even have this cage with the lat attachment? I do and I can bench and squat in the cage just fine. I just don't use the leg holder bar.

Edit: never mind. You mean the cable crossover. My bad.
