These are approach shoes for hiking to rock climbing sites. They are stiff and have a sticky rubber tread, good for gripping on slippery trails but wear quickly on concrete and asphalt. This is a good deal if you need a shoe like this.
Remember when you were a kid and you got new sneakers. You sweared you could run faster.

I've heard some terrex shoes are especially stiff. Are these like that I wonder 🤔

I bought these for right at this price point for cycling and trails. The shoes are definitely stiff so best to order 1/2 to 1 size up for sure as the front of the shoe is narrow especially if you decide to wear thick socks.
Overall the shoe is stylish and a good buy at the $30-35 range.
I bought these in blue and beige, they are stiff but great for weight lifting and biking. I had to "break" the rear ankle support tab on the beige version to get it wear correctly but after that it was fine. They do fit a bit snug but have been great for the gym.
