Just ordered one. Total price was $96.65 incl tax. The reviews on Amazon are very good. My only hesitations were the lack of a retractable cord (you'd really think a $350 vacuum would have one) and that it's heavy. It would be nice if it swiveled also. These are two features I've seen on less expensive vacuums.
Regardless, most of the Amazon reviews say it's powerful and good for dog hair, a requirement in my house. Let's see if it ships. Wouldn't be the first time a price mistake canceled on me.

While I wait for my confirmation email, I'm just curious… this or the Dyson Ball Animal 3+ from Costco for $280? I just bought the Dyson but haven't opened it yet. We've had a Shark Lift-Away DuoClean from Costco for a few years that doesn't seem to be working on hard floors any more (with the roller off). I've done a little research on vacuums, but not a ton. Wondering if any SDers have any personal experience with the two. TIA!

I got the Apex Az1000 from woot last year and it's been great. This is suppose to be an upgrade to that and too good a deal to pass up. Hoping it doesn't get cancelled.

Given the price difference, Shark.

Ignoring the price: Shark if you vac the stairs, car, under furniture/appliances, etc.. The lift-away functionality is great. Dyson if you only vac the open floors, where suction and maneuverability matter most.
