$0.45 each doesn't seem like a great deal to me.

Now, don't get too mad. I know you need a membership for Sam's, but you can get 100 finish quantum for $20 (20 cents each). Are the ones listed here more than 2 times better?

If you haven't seen Technology Connections YouTube channel about these pods you really should. All pods miss a critical pre-wash feature of dishwashers and the result is a worse wash, worse for the environment, and more expensive product than traditional powders and gels. Also the videos are very funny and very informative. Highly recommend.

We tried these recently and they left a smell on some types on plastic. Our travel coffee mugs had to be hand rinsed after washing to reduce the smell or they were just unusable.

We are switching back to the "classic" version.

If you haven't seen Technology Connections YouTube channel about these pods you really should. All pods miss a critical pre-wash feature of dishwashers and the result is a worse wash, worse for the environment, and more expensive product than traditional powders and gels. Also the videos are very funny and very informative. Highly recommend.

True! Everyone should still use dishwasher detergent for the prewash.
I used to use a regular dishwasher tab cut in half. Now, I use liquid dishwasher for the prewash and tabs for the regular wash

WM cash is limit 3 per transaction, so you can probably order x3 and get $9 in cash.

Good price if you need finish for your dishwasher but mine has been fine with generic sams club pods for 11 cents each.

To be fair, if you limit yourself to 1 batch of detergent, it is better to save it for after the pre-wash (which only lasts about 10 minutes before the water is pumped out). I don't want people to be confused by that part. A lot of people also pre-rinse their dishes, which means an effective pre-wash is less necessary.

I watched his videos and tried Cascade powder detergent in my '19 Frigidaire. Unfortunately, its cycles are designed for pods. It only gave a ~5 minute prewash so the powder didn't have time to work. After a month of trying, results were much better with Finish Quantum.
