I use both. Disposable makes sense for long duration items, like a TV remote or a wall clock. Also, some electronics require a voltage higher than eneloop's 1.2V. Anything that will discharge within a month and can handle the voltage, like headphones, I use eneloop.

Do these have a leakage guarantee like Duracell, Energizer, and Rayovac (and maybe others) do? Those three will replace an item destroyed by a leak. Will Amazon do that if one of its batteries leaks?

Looks like they expire in 8yrs so probably 2 years old meaning probably only at 80% capacity now. There's a great YouTube video on battery life comparisons on several aa and aaa brands

Also, not putting my rechargeables in my kids toys which have a lifespan of around 11.5 days before being destroyed and tossed.

I've used 100's of these batteries over the past few years and never had a single one leak.

I had three out of 16 that died after 1 cycle from the Last batch I ordered. Amazon refused to refund.

I agree to a certain extent. Some devices really do need the higher voltage that alkalines reach.

What? IMO kids toys, which will inevitably be left on by accident thus draining the battery, are one of the best uses for rechargeable batteries. In my experience if you're going to put a disposable battery in a kids toy you might as well just put the battery straight into the garbage because it will likely be there in a week anyway.
