I read that when I was 11ā12. Others which blew my little mind were
"a sound of thunder" https://en.wikipedia.or
and my #1, from The Martian Chronicles, "Night Meeting", https://en.wikipedia.or
I doubt Bradbury would hit as hard for today's kids. So much has happened, and his influence has been so wide and deep in popular culture for so long, permeating sci-fi and films-- they're not novel now. But in the early 70s, they stunned me and shaped my imagination.

You can possibly find similar books as auidobook format in librivox (of course, free).
