is there any other 2.1 / 3.1 setup available which sounds better than the S800B for $250 shipped !
i have my doubts nothing right now in even $350-400 range gets close to the S800B.
so yes its an great deal even its sometimes on sale for $299 or $279 refurb this one is brand new with warranty.
As for sound, it's pretty good straight out of the box. Truly plug-n-play. Subwoofer didn't even need to be linked. I don't get a real surround effect as I do with my 5.1 component system, but it is pretty good for how small the physical footprint is. FWIW, I have always been skeptical of atmos speakers and this is my first experience with them. I will say that I have yet to change any settings with the Samsung app. Because of this reason, I have picked up the 9500s from best buy as an open box - excellent item, for $97 bucks. I kept checking the site and one popped up after a couple days that included shipping. You might luck out and have one nearby. I think the addition of the 9500s should solve the faux surround deficiency.
The sub has two opposing speakers and it puts and good bass, again for how small it is. I do wish it had a cover to prevent my kids from putting a hole into it. But the only true way to prevent this would have been a vasectomy.
Hope this review has helped anybody. If a small footprint soundbar with good sound is what you are looking for, this is a no brained at $250. If you are looking for something to start competing with a decent component system, I would add the 9500s or look into the larger Samsung (or other) soundbars.

I haven't used buydig in years, had to update my phone. Also got a warning from GOOGLE Credit card transaction outside the 50 U.S. states Japan, Should I worry??
Also, not an audiophile and my best sound system has been a Logitech Z906 5.1 connected to my PC, would this or a similar soundbar setup produce better sound than my Z906?
Need a system for my X90K in the living room, and soundbar seems like what we're going for due to space / minimalism concerns.
