The point of large wine glasses that can fit an entire bottle of wine is so you fill about 5oz or so and have plenty of room to swirl it in the glass and oxygenate

The people who are saying these are too big are completely missing the point.

The are deliberately big so you it concentrates the aroma and you can smell everything. you can also swish the wine around to aerate. Its not to fit more in a glass. You fill it barely 1/3 for best effect. Smaller glasses arent desirable.

Check out the Riedel Sommelier series- which is the pinnacle of wine glasses. they are even larger

I'm not in the market but 8 large wine glasses made in germany for $20 delivered seems like a great deal. Dishwasher safe as well.

I like them better than Riedel! They have a smaller base than Riedel (which I like) and they're tall so you might have to drop your dishwasher rack down a notch. The bowl opening is a little tight though. I run these through the dishwasher all the time (air dry). Great price!

I recently brought them in the store on sale for $16.99. The glasses are pretty big in size. Hence, we returned it.

Most wine glasses are top-heavy like these. I prefer glasses that are not top-heavy. They exist but hard to find.
