Costco by far has the best deal for dr teals standard non-scented soaking salts at $8.99 for 12 pounds but it really is a way better bath/soaking experience when it's one of their scented versions ie lavender or pine. Going to give this one a shot just to break up the boring regular soaks. TU!

My daughter loves this, but always comes out of the bath giggly, confused, and a little hungry.

As I understand it, every nerve in your body operates on a sodium/magnesium 'link'. Epsom salt is the magnesium part. You dump a handful or 2 in the bath and it relaxes muscles pretty good. You can overdo it I have found, but you have to go pretty nuts to overdo it.
Now the cannabis part, that's probably just a gimmick, like when they started putting caffiene in everything

Any experience with CBD and sleep?

I have issues falling asleep, ive tried weed but have a high tolerance to overuse atm and dont want to be dependent on it...thinking of switching to CBD so i can pause on THC

I feel like the 'Cannabis Sativa' could be a bit misleading for some as there is no actual thc or mind altering cannabinoids in this, just fyi. I think they are trying to sound more intoxicating/cool than it is, ie, you're not getting high off of this in your bath water😄

Til, cannabis seed oil doesn't have THC or CBD and is a marketing gimmick or more technically it's a seed oil used to moisturize and nothing more.

There is NO peer-reviewed science for the epsom salt part of the equation. Your source doeant say a thing about the salt getting the mag into your body. Stop spouting nonsense..

I do like epson salt baths for the smell but any real medical usage has no basis atm. ITS ALL A GIMMICK.

do you lose your right to self defense if you bathe in this?
Isn't that ridiculous?! I can get a medical card but my rights are more important than suffering from back pain.

Can you order stuff online from costco? Our nearest one is over an hour away. If you can, is it free shipping typically?

Overuse of the muscle or things like strain/injury typically cause the muscle tissue to become magnesium deficient, the nerves become unable to allow the muscle fibers to fully relax without enough magnesium; they also tend to be worked until oxygen levels are low building more lactate. Soaking in magnesium salt allows the mineral to be absorbed through the skin and into the muscle, allowing it to relax. Maintaining proper magnesium levels in the muscle causes more efficient metabolism of glucose and less lactate accumulation in the muscle - which is what makes them hurt, it is a byproduct of all the lactic acid and lack of Mg and/or Oxygen.

Of course being in a hot tub of water also makes a person feel better from the warmth, as the nerves are less able to feel pain under application of heat; and, there is the pressure relief of the near-weightlessness/bouyancy of being in water mixed with the mild compressive forces of the weight of the water - when area in pain are being touched there is a concept called Gate theory and only the pain signal or the touch signal are fully perceived. So since the water is putting gentle pressure on all the painful areas it tends to block the pain signal of the nerves.

Cannabis products "feed" our Anadamide receptors (misnamed "cannabinoid" receptors by some foolish scientist in the 60s) and cause us to feel calm and safe. This is why Cannabis withdrawal is a real thing, people often cannot feel calm for a few days if they try to quit if they are a heavy habitual user. The brain eventually pushes less of it's own due to adaptation. It knows too much of a "good thing" isn't natural.

The salt alone has no real smell. Just pour fragrance in your bath…

I wonder what is actually "parfum" listed as one of ingredients. Lot of times companies put synthetic ingredients under this label. I reached out to DrTeals through their website. I will update this thread if they respond.

Walmart has the 6 pounders everyday for $5 something, this is just another Amazon shill promoted post to push more Amazon products and get the higher portal share a sale $. I'm tired of all these fake Amazon shill posts by the paid staff. Cancel Prime and reject these "deals".
But Amazon delivers for you. WM you have to go in the store.

You could offer helpful advice or say negative useless information like you shared. But it is a free country and I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you never tried an Epsom salt bath and experienced the benefits yourself then don't share information you have ZERO experience with. There's lots of "lack of studies" for things that work out there. The challenge with studies is it's really difficult to find a university who's unbiased who can do a fair study. Many studies that have been performed are often cutting corners or are not giving certain things a chance, putting things in the worst case scenario of viability and when the results don't ask participants about specific things like how does it make you feel instead relying on scientific markers for something that's all about how something makes someone feel, it's hard to know how something makes someone feel

Rant over. I've studied many studies of various sorts and I get frustrated by how poorly run many of these studies are and unless studies are properly managed and give certain products a chance, I have no respect for many studies that cut corners.
