Seems like a good price. We paid $2500 in 2021 and that included the coffee table. You really need the coffee table to store the inserts. It's very well made. We have four regular chairs and really only use the bench when need to expand it all the way out. The bench is ridiculously heavy.

So looking at this, this does not include the coffee table?

How is this a good price if it didnt include an essential coffee table (as you mentioned)?

Unless we can get the coffee table for under 500 bucks seperately?

Have an interest in this as a family member recently got one for their home. It's pretty cool and different from the traditional furniture setups we've grown up with. I didn't inquire any more with them as we were there for the holidays and wanted to enjoy the festivities.

However, I ran across one of the reviewer comments that put me off on this. Wanted to share as it may or may not affect your purchase decision.

Seems like for this version instead of the coffee table as insert storage, they built it into the bench.

I have been waiting for a good sale price on this!!!

For those wondering, I've been periodically checking back on their site for this setup and the best price I could've gotten this for was $2400 shipped

From my understanding, another commenter recommended getting the coffee table to store the extra table panels nicely but I rather save the money and put it towards a different coffee and find a method to store the extra panels

I believe the storage you see inside the bench is only to store the extra panels for the bench panels in itself and not for the table panels. Hope that helps

Only 1 or 2 of the finish choices are the 3.0 version, but a few are the 4.0 versions. You need to ask the rep at the Costco to confirm which one is which. Also, Costco has an amazing return policy, so there's that...

As for storage of the sections, the bench stores into itself. For the table, you can put them somewhere else out of the way if you don't want to spend so much for the coffee table (or if you want to use the coffee table storage for something else, like video game stuff).
