Nope. Easy access to both Ram sticks and SSD.

This is a good gaming laptop that suffers from the brand having a " lesser reputation " that the big names.

This is a great price for the specs for a refurb model.

I wish it was the mini led backlit screen.

Any idea if this screen is HDR? Looks like it has the brightness but I can't find much online about its color range

Screen is 500 nits so it would be fake HDR anyway. The model with the Mini-Led 250hz screen definitely can do HDR with 1000 nits max brightness

500 nits oes not make it Fake HDR, most of the OLED displays in laptop can't even reach that but still can show HDR properly. I think what you tried to meant is lack of local dimming.

Anyway, to answer the original question, this model does not support HDR.

It's more than just a reputation though. My last gaming laptop was an Acer. Good specs per $, but lackluster (heavily plastic) build quality. Worked fine for me, but know what you're getting which is great specs for a cheap price while cutting corners everywhere else.

Acer are a big name. Their reputation is similar to Lenovo, Asus, Dell. And I'd pick an Acer over an Asus or a Dell any time of day.
