Writer starts a book series, realizes the story has become too convoluted, so he delays and delays, but has been promising to release the next book for like 10 years. All while continuously starting new projects while he should be finishing the book.
Oh, and it's not even the final book in the series. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
At this point, I've forgotten most of what happened. I would have to re-read the whole series because it's been so long since the last book.

Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. the journey not the destination is a cop out and lazy writing, story telling or anything in life. glad their people with low enough standards you can drive them around the block call it a road trip and they be happy it the journey not the destination .... and yes, the ending was lazy and stupid if the books follow suit it be just as bad. 3 major players with right to rule at the end, with the fate of the world, shifting views killing thousands and more, all fade away for a random boy with visions and he will lead better than all, thu his only thing done in life is watching people have sex and becoming crippled while been taken care of.... wow this kid going rule a empire! add to it john snows emo Im a nobody let me piss and moan all the time but everyone trying make him king and he run away to the wall alone..... uh ? great.
