Agreed - this price is pretty good for the latest installment of Diablo. In addition, Diablo has been around for decades and helped pioneer the western rpg genre. But these religious nuts don't understand gaming history.

Out of the 7 people I knew that went into this game with me because we've been fans since the days of Diablo 2 and two others from Diablo 1 Hellfire, none of us stayed before the end of season 1. Beta was so promising and just days before the first season, they messed up the game so bad with their update that they lost a lot of customers. Go look it up and avoid this game but if you enjoyed it, more power to you.
I won't be getting anything that summons real demons, pass
Yeah, real demons...made entirely of pixelated light can be frightening. I've been playing for about a month and have only required 3.25 exorcisms, the 0.25 turned out to just be flatulence but it was so evil that I count some of it as a possession - pray for my wife's olfactory bulbs.
Jokes aside, it's a common notion that technology/electronics serves as a conduit for evil. The safest route you speak of would be to stay off the internet, television and your phone. Not reasonable or practical? Protect yourself through prayer, living a good life and being kind toward your fellows. Playing a fictional game about battling evil isn't going to summon real demons anymore than your logging into Slickdeals to posit fire and brimstone rhetoric. You might be interested to know that, if you subscribe to their existence, demons don't need to be summoned - Earth is their realm.

As a conservative Christian (church every Sunday, takes the Bible as God's inspired Word, etc.), the only reason I wouldn't buy this game is that Diablo fans themselves will tell you not to buy it. It is tough to admit but there are religious wackos, like my mom, who threw away my Metallica albums because "rock is satanic." I still listen to Metallica regularly, Master of Puppets to be specific.

I have a bunch of friends who really like this game for the couch co-op. I'm holding off for now cause I bet this game will be $20 by the end of the year and I've got too much of a backlog already.
This game is worth $20 at most. There's an expansion coming out, so this should really be free since there will be nothing to do with this version of the game when that hits.
