When I was researching AIOs, this, and other similar DeepCool models, seemed to have some of the best performance, beating many more expensive brands. I have a slightly different model and it has been great.

Also found these from Thermalright.

https://www.amazon.com/Thermalrig...0BWJS56BF/

At 55 to 65 bucks for a 360mm AIO the value for these things is insane right now and better than anything out there. I can't attest to how they compare against this Deepcool but Thermalright is a fairly reputable company that has been around for a long time.

Building a new PC. Is there where I save money compared to a $200+ Corsair 360mm AIO?

Man, maybe I just get this instead of the PA120 for my 7800x3D? I like the aesthetic of AIOs better but figured $40 was a steal for a ThermalRight cooler and save a couple of bucks. But $80 for an AIO? I think I might do it without breaking budget.

YES, I just put one of these in a build and would highly recommend them over any $100+ AIO, Corsair or otherwise.

The performance to price ratio of this 360mm just can't be beat, and depending on which Corsair you get, their warranty can be only 3 years long, whereas this one has a 5 year warranty.

From my experience, the fan curves require some slight tuning to make it a true silent system; 40% maximum was where I set mine (I found 45% already too loud, but I also have sensitive ears to noise so your YMMV), and I was able to achieve <72C max in Cinebench 2024 and Prime95 stress tests.

Some other notes from my experience:
  • the pump speed is static, but is pretty much silent, and can be run at super low PWM cycles (much lower than the fans). Practically, this means that you can run the pump off the CPU_OPT header while having the fans daisy-chained and connected up to the main CPU/CPU_FAN header, thus allowing you to tune the fan curve for the fans while ensuring the pump is run at spec. For other AIOs, if you do the same setup, your pump might end up running slower than what the spec calls for, and it's why newer and higher end motherboards have an additional AIO_PUMP header that you can set a different "fan" curve for the pump to run within spec, but mine doesn't, so I'm grateful to Deepcool for engineering the pump in a way that I can run everything off my two CPU fan headers.
  • the infinity mirror effect is pretty cool, especially for this price point, and the finish on the mirror is spotless. Good luck keeping it free from scratches/dust, but that's an end-user concern.
  • the RGB on the pump and lights are bright and colorful enough for me, but I'm also not an RGB person.

tl;dr I just can't see a justification for getting any other 360mm AIO, even other DeepCool products, when this thing exists at this price. I happily paid $87.99 for mine when it was on sale last year, but would gladly recommend it at $82.99.

I have this cooler in my h6 flow, with a 7800x3d and this thing runs great. No issues so far. Max temp I've seen is 74c after hour long gaming sessions

Whats the benefit of this other than it looks cool compared to a conventional air cooler? If I am not overclocking anythig is it worth it? Does it make it easier to fit everythng into a smaller case?

Was considering this model, but decided on the Kraken 360 cause the LCD screen is so awesome. As a gamer/designer, Im glad I splurged for it.

not really, this deepcool is cheaper and within negligible degrees plus it looks way better, for those with glass panels. also the arctic rad is thicker than standard which may or may not cause clearance issues.
