Dicks was only the green ugly Xmas sweeter style. These are normal colors and pretty decent price.

If you want Patagonia, yes. If you don't mind getting the exact same quality from Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Mountain Equipment, or several others, then no.

Lots of people will buy Patagonia for the $15 warranty repair service. I personally would just donate a fleece to a homeless shelter if it was patched with fabric of a potentially different color, and there are likely to be better fabrics on the market after wearing out a fleece. Others envision themselves using the service.

The pocket on one of my 10+ to Patagonia jackets ripped. I walked into the store and rather than me wait they just handed me a brand new jacket which is the updated model. Instead of trashing the old jacket like most places they will fix the old one to resell or donate.

Polyester does not usually shrink. Natural fibers shrink (e.g. Cotton and wool) when dried at high temps when they are not pre-shrunk.
