There is actually real data showing the effectiveness of red light therapy to regrow hair.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/...MC8675345/

This device is also approved by the FDA.

FDA Approval in this case is purely about whether it is harmful or not. It has no claim to efficacy. That being said, the study was much more positive than I expected. I fully expected it to be BS. Not the most reputable journal... but still. Meta analysis looks decent, but I'm dubious about the underlying studies and whether or not they are industry funded.

If you go to their website and request the study via chat, you'll quickly see it's a pretty poorly conducted study. If I remember, it was something like 50 participants. Less completed the entire study. And in many instances, the control group ALSO experienced hair regrowth. I would encourage any body to request the study. I haven't done any proper analysis on the study, but for such a small sample size, I absolutely would not trust their claims.

The item works somewhat but not worth the money for the few hairs I got.

No, I used it as directed for a year and then returned it. Would've happily kept it if it worked.

If this worked, it would have been all over hair loss communities, reddit hairloss subs, etc from people who have tried everything for the past 10-20 years. It ALWAYS goes back to the big 3 and this is not apart of it because it does not work.

FDA approval is just that it won't hurt you. 🤦
