To be honest, they shouldn't even be allowed to sell tattoo machines to just anyone. At the very least, they should at least make sure the buyer is BBP certified. In California at At one time, I don't know about today, they used to require you to have a valid and up to date Bloodborne certification to work at a tattoo shop. I retired over 10 years ago so it might be different now, not certain, but you couldn't even buy a tattoo machine unless you showed proof that you worked at a real shop as a tattoo artist, or an apprentice at a shop. Times change and I see machines are so cheap and accessible to anyone these days. Anyone with a debit card, even a child can but one online. It's kinda sad and is a slap to the face of the profesional tattoo industry that these can be bought so cheap and by anyone.
