Thanks. I had a Redbox gift card that I was finally able to burn up. Barbie, AntMan , John Wick 4. Creed 3 bl-rays were all $2 each. YMMV

Also, you may have to switch up Credit cards if buying multiples online . Or pick some up first before buying more online. In Redbox's system, it's still a "Reservation".

Chicken Soup for the Soul bought Redbox, the 4Ks stopped coming after that as part of cost cutting.

My 4K player upgrades blu ray nice so $2 BR is worth it, also get better sound. Beats streaming with ads. Also get points for free rentals.

Is it me or does Redbox seem like they're about to go out of business?

They have had few major new releases there, really only a handful out of new films. Also, even regular Blu-ray Discs have been an endangered species there. I haven't rented there for probably a year. there has been almost nothing to rent unless you counted the latest 3rd class Bruce Willis film.

Looking at some forums and seeing reports of how they are losing millions each year and studios are locking them out of new releases unless they buy huge quantities of a release, seems like it is indeed a sinking ship. I get a free Redbox rental usually once a month with T-Mobile Tuesdays, but...I haven't used that code in several months. Nothing that I want to rent that I don't already own. Been really wanting to rent Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse and checking Redbox frequently, but it looks like they are not going to get it. Frown
