think it only applies to purchases but could be wrong.
If you're referring to redeeming points for a free sub, you won't get the extra 72 points. They run this promo about once a year; in the past, I've saved my birthday points and tried this and got nada. That's why they say "purchase a sub" and not "order a sub."
I wish they had actual, comprehensive terms for this promo. Do mini subs count? Kids meals? I have to laugh that the Ts & Cs for the Shore Rewards say the value of a medium sub is $7.45 when most mini subs in my region cost more than that, and regular subs are $10+.
OP states "purchase any sub". On webpage it states "order in app, get a free sub". Does this mean that you can order anything? App shows nothing whatsoever about this promo and there are no terms specified anywhere. Really annoying when they play the vague game and I don't want to make assumptions. If anyone successfully receives the points, please post your results. Thanks!
I see on webpage that it mentions the offer, but not the date. Main page of app states the offer and date 1/1 - 2/29 for me (2nd pic in gallery of OP's post). Not sure if it's unavailable for you area or just hasn't updated.
I don't see anything whatsoever on the app about this and the webpage states "order in app, get a free sub". Order what in app? Seems that OP is assuming that they meant "sub" but it doesn't specify that, and there are no terms (that I can find) related to this promo. I don't appreciate their vagueness! Seems to me that their promotion dept. needs someone who has a clue about promotions!

It's a lifetime number. Mostly small mom and pop shops, but I get sandwiches in every town I visit.
Snarfs and Potbellies are consistently good, Fozzie's and a bunch of STL local places are good. Jimmy Johns and P'Sghettis are surprisingly good (though JJ has gone downhill and prices up lately). Goodscents was terrible but is closed near me. Schnucks and Dierbergs make comparable (okay) sandwiches. Which Wich is excellent but dropped the Thank you Turkey (Thanksgiving on bread!) and is almost $20 for a large sandwich now.
The Hill neighborhood in St. Louis has more than twenty places you can get sandwiches alone. A couple trips a month to the neighborhood for client lunches can add up.
I'm an eater, I guess.
You're definitely an eater and not a taster if you are putting all of those places about Mike's. Which wich has gone WAY downhill, Jimmy John's as well. Potbellies is ok, but there is no way its better than Mike's. I have not heard of the rest of those places, but comparing a large sandwich chain to a mom and pop shop is not an equal comparison.
My wife and I split a giant sub when we get a sandwich here - I've had enough points for a free one for a while, but last time I went it was double points day - and I guess I'm adding more to the total again

I don't think physical mailed coupons can be used for app orders?
I get them in the mail all the time and I didn't think I could use them for the app.
I got this coupon two months in a row in our local flyer. Last month I scanned it at the store and it worked and when I handed it to the lady, she said the coupon was still good and that I could keep it (weird???). 2nd time I entered the coupon in the phone app and amazingly it was accepted! 3rd time I entered the coupon in the phone app and it said the coupon was already used. I'm not sure how it works but I'm guessing each coupon can be used as many times as you want at the store and once on my app.

I realize that food preferences are completely subjective, but... You're saying Jimmy John's and Potbelly are both better than Jersey Mike's?! I'd wager you're getting the wrong sandwiches at JM's. THE order is a #13, Mike's Way, add pepper relish and (if you like it) mayo. Best major-chain sandwich in existence (IMO, of course).
Why would you think they would? The idea here is you go in, give them money, get a sandwich, they give you points to come back another time to get a free sandwich. (let's not convolute free here, mkay?)
What you're asking is "can I use my points to basically get a free sub, and then you give me another 72 points to get another free sub?"...like, no, no one does that.

You have a lot more options than others do, from the sound of it. Local deli's around here aren't all that great or don't offer a great value. We have which wich, JJ's, firehouse, subway, Knuckies and a few others i'm probably forgetting. Knuckies comes close, but you don't get much for your money (IMO). Which wich I got food poisoning from years ago and just haven't tried it again, but I want to. All the others are just meh.
JM's is consistent, as long as you go to one where the owner isn't a complete dolt.
