Have one and use it often since pre-covid, 2018. Highly recommend if you have 20v stuff already. Obviously good at cutting branches in high places, but also good at cutting up fallen branches to manageable sizes. Handy to reach for this for small tasks instead of the gas chain saw. Can also use the extension rod as an extension for other yard tools, such as the pole hedge trimmers.

This might be the current alright price, but not a SD. A few months ago, it was $152, but it came with a 4AH battery

I won't comment on how slick the deal is (I haven't followed prices on this pole saw recently), but I can comment on the tool itself. I bought one of these about 5 years ago when I had multiple trees grow large enough to require significant pruning and trimming.

My overall experience with the saw has been very positive. It's dependable, easy to use, and an excellent size: big enough to handle most tasks, while small enough to be manageable. As another commenter mentions, by shortening the pole length down to minimum, this saw is also very useful for doing some initial cutting large branches down into smaller pieces without having to break out a bigger chainsaw. If you're in the DeWalt 20v ecosystem, and you have trees, this saw is worth having.
