This device can be seen real time usage so you can see surge power and regular power

Or just buy this bundle and you will see all information above. This bundle has no limitation in term of power. It should cover 99% of your power need. You can always upgrade capacity later by buying more batteries. You should install all circuit in your house but only turn on 1-2 essential as you proceed along this line.

Will this give me enough power for the core home essentials and how long?
Why is ecoflow all over SD the past few weeks? Also seeing a lot of complaints about their refurbs, making me think QC sucks?
Anyone use this system and can share real world experience with what you run and for how long?
Smart panel necessary? I can certainly plug it into my transfer switch on my own.

Shp is good because it's automatically switch to Ecoflow battery if grid is down. You can even schedule time to charge with grid/solar to use it at night daily
No one has real world experience with this yet.

Either way, with the state of the world today, I want at least 10k wh backup LifePO4 batteries and a Smart Home Panel ready for whatever happens.
Stationary inverters are heavier because they contain more metal and better materials to contain the Eddy currents. On top of a low idle consumption and high solar input rating for their MPPT's
Portable is a bit of a gimmick. It may be slightly easier to hook up on paper but still require professional help to set up initially. At best it serves as backup power, not to save much on solar unless set up professionally.

The use case scenario is essential items (water pump, refrigerator, and some lights) during blackout.
A gas generator or a full solar system with a 10-15wh battery backup if you want to run everything without skipping a beat.

My cabin in the middle of no where that has nothing but a hot water heater, window ac, and propane furnace pulls about 400-500 and the temp there is kept at 45.
Better to just buy a vehicle-to-grid capable EV with 100 kWh battery and get a lot more bang for your buck if you intend to build a whole house backup.
Here you are spending thousands, and with installation probably close to 10k. That's a lot. Other system will cost more, but there ROI is generally less than 10yr. (My ROI of solar +pw is less than 5yr.)
And also if you don't expand battery, this won't last very long. But if you do, cost is just so much higher long term.
Not sure If you can take advantage of tax credit and utility incentives. Those can offset the long term cost for system like this in some other system.
Most reviews are paid ad at this point.
undoubtedly, if you need mobility, this is a clearly a big advantage vs other system. But just carry this around is not easy.
