There is a good way to track who sold your email address, at least for gmail. If you add a "+company_name" to your email address then it still gets to you. If I were signing up for zoro, for instance, and my email address was [email protected] then I'd give them the email address [email protected] and it still comes to me. If I start getting spammed at that address then I know it came from zoro.

There is one glitch with the system: When you receive a 'verify this address' email then sometimes the link doesn't work with a '+' in your email address. You have to change the ' + ' in the confirmation URL to ' %2B ', without the quotes.

I've ordered from Zoro several times. They are owned by Grainger. Everything I've ordered from them has been drop shipped from the manufacturer. Doubt these will ship, but in for 1. Thanks OP!

I used paypal for purchase. Paypal processed the payment, but the website (Zoro), never progressed. It still shows the item in my cart and is sitting on that page, even though I got the confirmation of a charge on Paypal.
