This is our third and last Nuna Rava carseat purchase and this price on this color is a steal.
This is not the cheapest car seat, but then, we're not looking for the cheapest.
It feels very comfortable to the touch and it's definitely a luxury type carseat.
We do a lot of road trips and we have the luxury to have a comfortable car and this feels like an extension of that for the kids.
Would other seats be uncomfortable on a cheaper car seat? I don't think so. They'd get by more than fine. However, I got leather seats rather than cloth seats on our car and I'm not asking that same question to me.
They sleep on the floor in many cases and can find comfort in many places and their high chair has no cushioning. For car rides and road trips, where they seat all the time and where we care that they enjoy seating and also that they sleep as comfortable as they can, this is an investment buy, if that makes sense for you. It does for us and we can manage to afford it.
It feels large and secure, but it does a good job of leaving space to fit stuff on the other seats.
We have a 1 year old who's going to be growing out of his infant car seat soon into this seat and using it rear facing as long as we can. And an almost 4 year old that already switch to forward facing that loves his.
We use one on a smaller sedan type Subaru impreza hatchback as a second car, and have our current second on a pacifica van, where we plan to replace the infant one with this one soon.
Conveniences: the little pull out thing for the feet that get them a bit more comfort as their feet are hanging, we have the removal of the seat cover to a T and it's somewhat easy to take out to wash and put back.
A pro that could be a con to some. The cup holders are retractable, which works well for our small car, but it makes them be in a place that's not visible to your kid and could be awkward to use. Our older kid can throw toys on it with 19/20 precision and he puts and pulls any water bottles without a problem since he was a bit over 2, IIRC.
Overall, I'm happy to see this offer as we were waiting to get our third at some point.
I don't have much experience with others, but happy to answer any questions.
This seat doesn't fit any stroller - it is a convertible seat meant to stay in place in your car. You are looking for the Nuna Pipa with an adapter to fit your Cruz

nordstrom has liberal price match policy. they are not going to ask for return on $25 difference. Dont consider terms and condition to the absolute. be loyal customer, you will get the same treatment
I insist they will not. Nordstrom has the subject of this thread car seat color for $375 as well. What do I price match to? I call and I say "you are selling a different color of the same seat for $25 less. I want this color but at that price?" I don't like when people are asking me to sound ridiculous!

Arghhh... forget my (deleted) comment about where these are made. I was wrong: all of these car seats are made in China! oh-oh.
Cant speak for this model but i have the Nuna exec for my 5 year old, and i dont think you can get a more posh seat. The thing has a foot rest! The material is also the caviar and its top notch.

You figure a way to keep the belt crotch buckle forward so that you don't have to pull it from under the baby when placing her down ?
My Britax and uppababy always stayed forward. Really don't like how the nuna adds another potential fuss step in their rava. Otherwise I agree it's a nice seat.
Their safety checks video visits are also a month out. Uppababy was way more accessible

Great car seat, recently swapped out for Nuna AACE (booster seat) in both cars.
Had two of their Gen 1, one black, one grey. Grey did get a *touch* dirtier but not bad. Pads are easy to remove/wash, hopefully they fixed the one corner which could be a bit hard to reinstall but nothing terrible.
It's a premium seat. Install/removal is simple, it literally takes abotu 30 seconds (you slide the belt through & close a latch). Super secure & safe for kiddo. We drove from San Diego to Bellingham with a 5yo in the seat & he never complained about comfort.
all in all though highly recommended.
How old at swap out. Have a 4 1/2 year old and almost one. Was going to get this but maybe should just get a booster and hand down my current Nuna.
We love it, we had that top rated Greco and it's now in Nanas car.

I chose comfort for baby (Nuna) over comfort for me (Evenflo).
Additional, rotating seats get poor crash test reviews.
Online reviews are about 50/50 for which is better. So ultimately I chose the luxury at a good value proposition over the commodity.
Nuna has Revv but $650
This is not a portable car seat. You would need something like the Nuna pipa
Actually no https://csftl.org/chemists-guide-car-seats/
