These also work for cats. The ingredients in the cat and dog versions of the chicken flavor only vary by 1 thing. The dog version says hickory smoked flavor, the cat version just says natural flavor. My cats will eat these no problem and I prefer them to the smaller cat version because I can use one dog treat to encapsulate a pill and then make 2 little extra treat balls. I give them the pill filled one first, then the other 2 in quick succession. They are so excited about the treats that they don't think and just swallow them.

I only have 25% off coupon for S&S. No $3 off coupon. The 25% off should be used for a more expensive item like a bag of dog food to maximize savings since you can only use it once.

I apologize for not including a link. For future reference, where it shows the coupon, there's 2 links: 1) to shop all items included in the promotion and 2) to the terms. The "shop all items" link is how I found the peanut butter flavor. I always click that link in case there's a different item I want more than the one posted.

FYI, since these are normally and still pretty expensive with coupon, I've been giving my chocolate lab her pills with cheap hot dogs, bananas, or pears that are a little overripe. Both have worked great to hold the pill in.

I have also used just generic Kroger pb to lather pill in and out with kibble which she downs well.

Some idea for others to try if you're cheap like me and don't want to spend on pills.

I use cheese cubes. Dog loves them and they are cheap.

Mine came out to $1.17 + tax. I was comparing the prices between the one time purchase (had a $3 off coupon) and subscribe & save (had a 40% off coupon). Looks like both coupons got applied. 😁

I do notice that some ingredients orders are also switched so it may be a bit different texture than the cat one, also cat one has liver which may entice some picky eaters more (or less lol cats). As always I also advise people to compare things themselves just to be sure it's ok since some dog safe ingredients are not cat safe and ingredients often change.

Awesome trick though considering cats will remember that they taste nasty so giving extra "good" ones make them think that maybe this is kind of ok.
