Yeah... I really wish that Adidas would find some consistency with these Lite Racer models.. I can't figure out their rhyme or reason - and it's always a gamble when trying a different variant... And try variants, I have...

3.0s were what I originally fell in love with... Nnug enough to be able to move around in, but loose enough to be able to slide on without much effort... Since these have some age, and wear and tear on them, I use these as my gym shoes now. I can jog at 6.5mph on the treadmill without issue - and they provide plenty of support and cushion for me while lifting. Just don't wear into a mosh pit - learned this the hard way when mine came off after someone stepped on my heel.

4.0s are a little tight, but doable... I wear these some, but they're the least of all that I own and actively wear... I bought these after purchasing both 3.0s and 5.0s... Why on earth the 4.0s would fit significantly different and way more snug than both the 3.0s and 5.0s is beyond me...

5.0s work just fine for me - snug enough to not flop around when jogging, loose enough to slide on using just my feed and very comfortable. These are usually my airport shoes, as they are so easy to put on and take off while dealing with TSA. To me, these fit pretty much identically to my 3.0s.

6.0s were uncomfortable and I just gave up on trying to break them in. Wound up giving to a friend who has also abandoned them due to them being too tight...

Does anyone know why the fit on these different versions is so significantly different?

Had the Lite Racer 4.0 , and the front inner layer tore through after a few months, leaving only a thin layer. They're cheap for a reason, but for < $30, they're fine for walkabout shoes. Mine have been turned to slippers for backyard wear.

Ordered 3 pairs. 7.5
I figure 6-8months each pair. I kinda ruin them occasionally at gym with compressing soles

I hated lite racer 4.0's
They felt awful

Bought these last year around the same price. They are a little bit narrow so if you have a wider foot you may want to go up a size. I will say the soles are very comfortable. Great shoe for this price.

In for a pair. I like to wear slip on shoes for long car rides or planes. I hate dealing with shoe laces and stuff at airport security

Beware of buying from Adidas-eBay! I ordered a jacket on 10/31/23 and was sent a pair of children's shorts. They put a fraudulent 800 number on the packaging that connects you with Adidas but will not help customers with Adidas-eBay order numbers. They are difficult to contact. They refuse to respond to me. They still have my money and I have a useless item.

Vans slip on are also good. I bought a brown and tan one but my dad took them lol. Since he's older and doesnt want to deal with tying shoe laces. Also the merrell nova mocs are decent
