Description

As proud Heritage dealers, we're stoked to tell you that these Heritage guitars really are the real deal. Their motto is "the world's finest American-made musical instruments" and we cannot find any reason to refute that at all. The company was started by employees formerly of the custom shop at the "Big G" who wanted to continue the tradition of handmade, high-quality instruments from the olden days.

The H-530 instantly became a shop favorite. This is a fully hollowbody offering in their lineup and comes stocked with some awesome Lollar P90s. Lollar has become one of our favorite boutique pickup winders, and this awesome takes on the vintage P90 provides an airy and crisp tone whilst retaining fullness and plenty of warmth. The cleans on this guitar are simply magical. The scooped-out midrange from the hollowbody design and the sparkle of the P90 pickups are wonderfully complementary of one another and give this guitar a fantastic vintage sound.

The build quality, as with every Heritage we've come across so far, is absolutely stellar. The guitar has absolutely zero shortcomings. Playability and tone are both impressive, all in a lightweight and extremely comfortable package.

Heritage is built in the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo Michigan. Some say these are more Gibson than what is labeled Gibson today. Many of the artisans that didn't move to the new Gibson stayed behind to form Heritage. I think these are Superb!

Wouldn't order such an expensive axe from pitbull. CS isn't the best and if you have to return for any reason I feel it'll be a pita. Rather buy from MF or GC knowing you can go in store with any issues. Heck, just price match with them if you really want it.

Great price on a new heritage. I own a 535 and bought it used for this price. Fantastic guitars!

I've ordered a lot of parts from Pitbull without any issues. Any reason why you "feel it'll be a pita" to return? Honestly, you're more likely to get a floor model from GC or MF if you try to price match. Like you said, if you have a store near you that's not as much of a problem. But many of us don't have GC nearby.

Have and have had various Gibsons and Heritage guitars. The Heritage is a fabulous brand and the craftsmanship and build quality is excellent. The H-150 which is the equivalent of the Les Paul standard may be equal in price new but has features of the Gibson custom shop. Such as long neck tenon and a solid piece back (instead of the 2 or 3 piece mahogany back of the Les Paul Standard). Even the pickguards and cut and shaped by hand in the Heritage Kalamazoo Factory.

Haven't owned the 530 but do have its twin 535 ( has humbuckers instead of P90's). These things are Gibson 335 killers!! Anyone who's played both will say that, unless so binded by the 'G' they are kidding themselves. As stated this is the old original Gibson factory that was purchased by a few of the best longtime builders who didn't want to move south. They stayed and started their own company using many of the original equipment Gibson left (too costly to move ). Basically the tools, equipment and builders that made the Original 50's and 60's ES-335s and Les Pauls are the ones who built Heritage. The same equipment is used today .

Excellent buy on an excellent guitar!!

I played a red one last year and loved it. Just a beautifully crafted guitar and it sounds like a 335 should. If I wasn't "thinning-the-herd" I would buy one.

I live near the physical location and have been in the store a few times. They guys there seem like a good group of dudes running the place. Knowledgeable, friendly and willing to deal if asked. They gave me a price break on a Bare Knuckle pickup simply because I asked.

Absolutely love my Heritage H530. It has a nice distinctive tone that isn't easy to get from any other instrument.

This is a very good deal. Heritage Guitars are mostly hand made at the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo. I've been to the factory several times and know many of the people there, including the guys who founded the company who worked at Gibson. They have some great stories. But going back to the guitars, this is a fully hollow ES-335 size guitar. If I had the money, I'd get one. But now is not the right time for me.
